Serge Industrial Sewing Solutions was born out of passion for the textile industry.
In an industry that began its evolution more than two centuries ago, our approach had to be unique, fresh and personal.
Founded in 2016 with Bronwyn Manthe at the helm, our aim is to offer a boutique service experience, complimented by a product offering that is customised to your specific needs.
The needs of every production environment is different, from large scale textile factories to home based designers, and we cater for every need.
We are importers and distributors of a wide variety of products associated with the textile industry. These products include, but are not limited to:
Industrial sewing machinery; bagging equipment; cutting room equipment; pressing room equipment; spare parts; sewing consumables and associated equipment.
Our footprint is firmly set within South and Southern Africa. However, our customer base reaches as far as Ethiopia; Madagascar and Mauritius.
We have long standing, personal relationships with a number of highly reputable suppliers worldwide. We offer a wide variety of good quality products, originating from various countries, including Japan; Germany; Turkey; Taiwan and China.
Because our focus is aimed at strong customer service and problem solving, talk to us about any specific requirements that you may have. If there is a machine or a consumable item that is not available on market, we will do everything possible to source it for you.
Besides the supply of machinery, we place enormous emphasis on the after sales support of our products. For your convenience, we offer on-site machine repairs and services. Not only do we support our own brands – we will service and repair most brands of machines.
For ultimate peace of mind, we offer monthly service agreements for larger factories. These contacts are month-to-month agreements, and will ensure that your machines operate at optimum performance. Machine down time has a critical impact on your bottom line, especially in large production environments. Our service agreements act as your insurance policy against machine down time.
We are passionate about finding new homes for used equipment. If a limited budget is hindering you from starting or expanding a factory, opt for second hand equipment. Our used equipment is fully refurbished if necessary, and thoroughly serviced prior to being delivered.

We offer every customer a personalised, boutique experience.
If you would like to purchase a machine, please advise us in advance. This gives us the opportunity to ensure that the machine is assembled; tested and ready to be demonstrated when you arrive at our premises. One of our skilled technicians will also be on hand to assist you with training on the machine; and to answer any technical questions you may have.
Bronwyn started her career in the industry in 2001 as a 19 year old, working the spares counter under the watchful eye of a certain Mr Isaac Joffe at Industrial Sewing Machine Company.
Progressing from there, a long and dedicated career at Berzacks began in 2002. Her position within the company developed from spares counter sales to machine sales, and then eventually to the appointment as sales manager for the Johannesburg branch.
