Inner & Outer Foot Set (U192/U193)

The U192 is the outer presser foot and the U193 is the inner (or feeding) presser foot of a walking foot mechanism for industrial sewing machines. They are designed to work together as a set to provide a synchronized feeding motion for heavy or multi-layered fabrics.

Function and Mechanics

The U192 and U193 feet form a dual-foot, bilateral walking mechanism.
U193 (Inner/Feeding Foot): This foot moves in tandem with the feed dogs to grip and pull the fabric layers from underneath. This active feeding action is crucial for handling thick or challenging materials evenly.
U192 (Outer Presser Foot): This foot holds the material down consistently from the top while the inner foot is in motion, preventing the upper layers of fabric from shifting or puckering.
